My name is Shorty but I have an array of nicknames.
Stinker and Stinky are a couple; however since most Dachshunds do not have a
distinct smell (at least to humans); I think those names are intended as
more of a character trait. A few more are Baby, Mouse, Stretch, Thumper and
Thunder Paws. I take great pride in my thunderous race horse like
gallop.
