I’m looking forward to Christmas. Every year Mom wraps
up a new toy and places it under the tree for me. Every year I open it
before Christmas. Mom used to put another new toy under the tree, now she
just re-wraps it and puts it back under the tree. It’s fun to see how
pitiful the wrapping paper is by Christmas Day. |

My concern this year is the ever growing herd of miniature me. |

Every year Mom gets a couple more of the Hot Diggity dog
figurines as gifts for Christmas. |

| Yes, they are cute – after all they are
modeled after me, but so many of them? Will there come a day when they
take over? |

It’s bad enough they are inspiration for my Halloween costumes,
but now there are so many of them that our guests pay almost as much
attention to them as to me. |
 |
Mom wants the Elvis Hot Diggity dog this year – heavens
it even has blue shoes, what will they think of next? Mom is so crazy for
them she added a huge collection of them to her Dachshund Amazon store.
Take a look, you’ll be amazed at the variety. |

Well, as long as I don’t have to share lap space with
them and I’m not required to wear blue suede shoes, I guess I’ll be OK. |
