Happy New Year, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday
season. I’m relieved that the neighbors have stopped shooting off
fireworks. I’m not one of those dogs that hide under the bed during
fireworks, I feel the need to bark at the top of my lungs, but it does get
exhausting.
Well, Mom is in mourning. Football season is over, at least for her
favorite teams. Apparently our local NFL team didn’t have a good season and
there are no more games for awhile. I don’t care for all the
cheering and yelling that
goes on in our house during the games, but I do enjoy the company.
Periodically Mom invites friends and neighbors over to watch the games with
us.
Here’s a shot of me and one of my favorite people. We even had on matching
jerseys for the game. Mom’s Amazon store carries
NFL jerseys for dogs in
case you want one (for all NFL teams).
This picture shows one of Mom and mine’s favorite people, he used to live
across the street from us. Even before he had a dog he kept a plentiful
supply of dog treats. I always made a point of going to his house when we
went for walks. That is my definition of a good neighbor.
For those of you who wrote in asking about Mom’s
Christmas presents mentioned in last
month's journal entry – yes, Elvis is in the building.
