Where do dog's sleep? |
|
|
Mom and I read a survey recently that showed that 70%
of people allow their pets to sleep with them. Mom tries to hide it and
won’t allow me to put it in the advice column, but I won that battle many
moons ago. |
 |
There’s a pillow at the foot of the bed under the covers that I go to every
night, but once Mom’s asleep I sneak out and share her pillow. If she’s
sleeping on her side I stretch my wiener dog body against her spine – it’s a
perfect fit! Mom injured her shoulder recently so lately I’ve been lying on
her shoulder; she calls me her little breathing heating pad.
The first time I stayed with my Grandparents I won the bed battle there
too. My Pop didn’t want to let me under the covers; he was afraid I would
suffocate. After a long battle he gave in and I darted under the covers to
the foot of their bed where I now sleep when I stay with them. |
|
One of my main jobs is snuggling so it makes
perfect sense to me that I sleep in Mom’s bed, at 70% sounds like
we’re not alone. So – Night, Night, don’t let the flea’s bite!

| If you can't make your way into the people
bed, here's my next best recommendation for a
dog bed. |
